okay folks.....here is how the purchasing of items on this site works:

paypal  is our #1 preffered method, but we also acccept pretty much anything else too:

cash, checks, and credit cards ( visa, amex, and master card)

if there is something you want to buy and you are a paypal user:

1) simply go to www.paypal.com

2) click "send money" and then send it to carpedenim@wildblue.net

3) check the box "goods-non auction" and write in a description of the item(s) you are paying for and your preffered method of shipping ( add your fedex or ups # if you have one )

paypal will contact me and let me know I have received the payment, at which time I will ship your items using your preffered method.....I will then send you a bill through paypal requesting reinbursement for the shipping charges

if you want to send a check: email to let me know I should save the item (s) for you, and I will ask you for your address so that you can get an exact shipping figure to add to the total

if you want to pay with a credit card, you can either:

1) email me your card info in 2 separate emails for security

2) call my store at 970-946-2286 and give them the cc info and a description of what you are buying and how much you owe....make sure to give your address as we will send you the credit card receipt

I know some of this may seem pretty prehistoric, but the bells and whistles websites cost a lot to run and I would have to add that to the costs of the goods, which neither of us wants to see happen....

this website was created by Brit Eaton, founder and factor of Carpe Denim

he can be contacted via email at CARPEDENIM@WILDBLUE.NET

this is a web site in progress.....there may be new items added every day, or, conversely, there might be a long passage of time between uploads......also, as the items we sell are unique, one-of-a-kind, pieces of history,  therefore, when they are gone, they're gone !  so...we shall try our best to remove things as they sell in order to not show items that are no longer available......however, as we have about 10,000 square feet of wholesale wharehouse and retail store space here in sunny southern colorado, we may have tons of similar items to those on this site.  Feel free to contact us if there is anything in the world of vintage clothing and accessories that you may be looking for.  Our goal in creating this website is twofold: first, to present an easy manner in which new and existing customers can shop online and learn more about our business; secondly, to portray the magnitude of our large realm of myriad treasures here in Durango so that viewers of this site will say to themselves "holy mackarel....we need to get out to Durango, Colorado right away  !"

email carpedenim@wildblue.net for more info or more incredible vintage items like these.....
